The CEO of of CBS was present at TCAs (Television Critics Association) earlier today. Les Moonves talked to television critics about the contreversey that has surrounded this season of Big Brother. Moonves also happens to be married to Big Brother host, Julie Chen.

Check out some of the things he had to say as reported by Deadline.com below:

“I find some of the behavior absolutely appalling,” CBS CEO Leslie Moonves said this morning of this season’s competition series Big Brother, which has been in the news over the racial slurs some of the competitors have been spewing at housemates. The season is reflective “of how many people feel in the country,” he suggested, noting, “I’ve watched every episode — obviously, my wife would kill me if I didn’t — we discuss it quite a bit (Moonves’ wife, Julie Chen hosts).” He insists the network has handled the season “appropriately.” Asked what he and Chen say about this season on the show, Moonves shot back, “I’m not going to tell you what goes on in my home.”

Moonves, who was filling in for CBS Entertainment president Nina Tassler at the network’s TCA press tour executive session today, acknowledged he is still hands-on with the network’s reality competition series casting, and utterly dismissed a critics’ suggestion the Big Brother edition is evidence that “casting tries too hard.” “You don’t want wallflowers on reality show,” he said. “They are social experiments — trying too hard? I don’t think there’s any such thing.”

So… in other words he said NOTHING!!! CBS will not address the comments that were made and everyone will continue to talk around them. Because if they did actually say something about it they might have to DO something about it. At the end of the day, all three of them WILL have to answer to AMERICA when they are out of the house and that is going to be worse than CBS doing anything. So the racist should enjoy their time in the house because once they are out….yicks (I feel for them)

CBS needs to show the actions by amanda, whose racist remarks are just as bad as arryns.

Half the house is on adderol or xanax and BB supplies them all with alcohol. isnt mixing drugs and alcohol dangerous? is CBS liable for intentionally causing physical harm to the Hgs that they are paying this season?

To stand by and watch bullying is being a bully yourself. CBS ruins Hgs reputations for the love of money

Big Brother is like a horror movie, black people never make it to the end.

these Hgs are actually temporarily employed by CBS, nice employers to allow employees to act this way. YOU should be ashamed!!!!!!!!!! they hire sexists, homophobic, racists, hitler lover, foul mouth disgusting workers. CBS should be held responsible for the conduct of their employees
